Memorial Day weekend

How did this year fly by so quickly? I can’t believe it’s nearly June… JUNE!!
Well we tripped out to ‘cation house again for some of the weekend – where we saw a car show and met the neighbor’s dog Kumi. The sun poked its head out for a bit so that the kids could hone their kayak rowing skills, and then we needed to get back to the city for a busy week of E&Z’s dad working days and nights. If the blog goes a little radio silent for a bit, we will be back soon after the crazy work spell is over! Meanwhile some shots from our Instagram feed:

Oh CMA street fair we love you so…

The Children’s Museum of Art in Manhattan does a great street festival each spring, and this year the weather was SO conducive to outdoor activity! Zoe cannot get enough of the flubber table, and building box cities and a giant yarn bridge outdoors is just an ideal kid activity. I loved the miniature golf stations that the creative CMA staff made from scratch out of cardboard… can I get a job there?

Spring in our ‘hood

It’s blooming everywhere and the smell of lilacs on the alley is amazing! Ezra got some great closeups of tulips on a nearby lawn and my husband cut some excess cherry tree blossoms to put on our mantel. Warmer temps mean that Zoe gets to show off some flare around her uniform, and even Louie is enjoying the warmer breezes.
