We won a day of New York City tourist entertainment, so my husband and I decided to use it for ourselves and leave the kids home!  It’s been decades since we last went to the top of the Empire State or took a bus tour around Manhattan.  The Ride was ridiculously touristy but once the guides got wind of the fact that we are FROM NYC – they were relentless and tortured us through the entire ride .. which made it even more fun. We caught some of the Macy’s Flower Show prep and got to go to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum which I enjoyed more than my husband.  A kiss on the Top of the Rock topped off the day before we did our short commute home and fell into bed.

We had another round of cousins come through!  We took them to Oculus and lower Manhattan for some slide and playground time, then invited them along to find eggs in our alley.  While the boys went to a Yankees game, the gals went to see an acrobatic show titled  ‘Something’ in Times Square.  Zoe loves the huge cupcakes sold outside of the theater.  The weather was unseasonably warm so kids were able to dye eggs outdoors (whew.. less mess).  Ezra is super proud of his ‘galaxy egg’ seen here:

Angelo’s baptism

Little tiny cousin Angelo was baptized a few weeks ago.  All we know is that Paul and Ezra cannot get enough swim time together, Sophia and Zoe still love to ‘scrub’ Uncle Towel’s (really Uncle Carl’s) head, and that Angelo is adorable.  Can’t wait to see him again!  He is growing too fast..
