Sorry for the delay. We are back to the colder temps and already missing Florida. It was a little chilly there – 50 degrees on some days – but when it rains or gets cold we love the Museum of Discover and Science in Fort Lauderdale:

New Lego store at 23rd Street in Manhattan

Lego stores popping up everywhere these days…even the ‘big kids’ passing by outside couldn’t resist stopping to see a lego town. Ezra and Zoe spent an hour in the ‘free play’ room building and then displaying their lego creations.
I love that there are entire bins of lego blocks in various colors. And lego flowers? Yes please!
And they appeared on TV as well!

Jazz Standard for kids on Sundays

We’ve been meaning to do this for a long time now but finally both Ezra and Zoe are old enough to sit still and appreciate a live show. Every Sunday from 2-3 pm Jazz Standard (under Blue Smoke restaurant) has a kid’s live jazz show – starring other kid jazz performers! Inspiring to watch – especially for kids who are also learning to play an instrument. And of course Ezra had the sample the city’s best beef ribs, which are on the kid menu!
And the result of all of Ezra and Zoe’s hard work in midtown:

Ok I do love that Zoe loves her dad so much, and Ezra’s life-long crush is mentioned as well. BUT he talks like such a big boy… and talks of getting a hotel room? I’m baffled.
Enjoy:
Talking ’bout love ..

Ezra and Zoe were invited to talk to the Today show about ‘what love is’ (along with many many other kids, so we wait to hear whether or not their explanations for love will “make the cut”.) If they do make the cut – I will be posting a link to the Today Show for all to see, that’s for sure! Meanwhile the kids enjoyed being in a TV studio and got to tour some other shows in the same building . Stay tuned for more ( I hope ) – but meanwhile here they are hard at work in midtown. Enjoy the weekend!
