I have no idea how I forgot to post these pix of our trip to this amazing museum in San Francisco.  We got a rainy day on the last day of our trip and this location was just the right dose of fun for older and younger kids.  The claymation studio kept Ezra occupied and of course Zoe loves to draw and make movies (and a music video studio!) as well.  My favorite room was a space where kids could scan their car, building and truck drawings and then see them come to life in a ‘city’ projected all around the room!

When it was too chilly for the beach, this playground in Boca provided hours of fun for the kids. Lots of climbing space with little hidden areas of wheels and buttons meant imaginative play for the cousins – and the carousel offered a nice break before lunch.

We had to show the cousins the best playground in NYC – so off to Brooklyn to find slide mountain, the swing zone and the cute little cabins in the sand at Brooklyn Bridge Park/Pier 6. And of course while there we had to take them to Jane’s Carousel – that great big beautiful merry-go-round in the glass box by the water that we’ve blogged about so many times before!

Of course, no trip to DUMBO is complete without a ride on Jane’s Carousel – right outside of the playground. Really, does is get any more magical than this restored 1920s carousel in a giant glass box on the water?
