I’m not gonna lie, it has taken YEARS to get Zoe ‘into’ the ballet or dance.  She’s just now mature enough to enjoy it, and she even lasted through all 2 and a half hours of Peck and Copland’s “Rodeo” – which was a lot of fun!  The Second Movement was my favorite part,  and is included as a video at the end of this post.  Enjoy!

Yesterday was dreary, cold and gray – and today the park looks a bit more like a winter wonderland. So much so that I am tempted to leave work for a walk in the park, no matter how cold it may be out there. It’s hard to believe we got a day of 50 degree weather on Sunday – this winter has been crazy. Here are a couple of shots of yesterday, and now:

That lovely triangle of grass in the corner of Lincoln Center is urban kid heaven – hill, lawn and steps all in one. And then a romp in the fountain makes the day complete.

I’ve always wanted to bring my kids to this Lincoln Center event .. and now they are old enough to enjoy it. This weekend Ezra was a perfect gentleman and danced with his gal Lea – who was anxious to learn the tango. They started with lessons for merengue, then a line dance or two, and by the time the tango lesson came around Ezra was spent. After lessons the kids got to watch the kids from Dancing Classrooms do their thing:
