One person who got me totally inspired to start blogging was Naomi over at taza-and-husband.blogspot.com. I don’t know what it is about stylish Mormon mammas who manage to look great, stay in step with art and design trends and juggle a house full of kids at the same time, but I’m obsessed with reading all about it. As if Naomi and her husband weren’t adorable enough (along with their English bulldog Kingsley), they had to go and make the cutest baby Eleanor – which now has me more transfixed than ever. In any event, I find it somewhat reassuring when the very perfect Naomi admits that her house is a mess – and that it’s nearly impossible to stay on top of baby traipsing through the house with food bits falling off of said baby’s clothes, and pawing at the toilet paper like a crazed cat. I know all this too well. In fact, I should some day photograph ‘before and after’ scenarios of what our apartment looks like when I leave for work – and what it then looks like at about 6 pm when I return. Helloooo Armageddon. Anyhow I leave you with this post and the reassurance (to other moms out there) that you’re not alone in wondering when the tidying might end. Age 5? Age 8? Age 18? Never?
