Hey did you know that today marks the 100th year of Grand Central Station‘s existence? A mom-friend sent this email — outlining lots of great bargains going on there today:
“February 1 is the centennial celebration of the opening of the glorious Grand Central Terminal in New York. The city has lots planned for the big day (and year) including some Crazy Eddie-style deals. Bargain hunters who don’t mind insane crowds take note, Grand Central shops and restaurants are rolling back to some 1913 prices! Train fares will still cost the same.
Clams for pennies, pounds of pasta for a nickel, gelato for a dime, pieces of fudge for a quarter—these are some serious deals. But you’ll want to make sure to hit certain spots at just the right time as not all of them are all day. Here’s the breakdown of the one-day-only pricing rollback:
